Taejongsa Stupas - Taejongsa (temple) is named after the 29th King of the Silla Kingdom (57 BCE to 935 CE), King Taejong Muyeol (604-661), who enjoyed archery and hiking in this area of Busan. From late June to early July Taejongsa, home to Korea’s largest hydrangea habitat, it is possible to enjoy a large variety of blooming hydrangeas. About 5,000 different hydrangea plants, in 40 varieties, come from around the world. Taejongsa is famous for its Sri Lankan-style Buddha.
