The 128-year-old Indore Christian College is all set for a face-lift. Built in 1887 by Canadian Mission, the oldest college of city has produced a galaxy of eminent personalities viz Kishore Kumar, Rajshri Dungarpur, Ved Pratap Vedic and others. Plans are afoot to equip college with latest technology and infrastructure. Under renovation plan, the process of leaning will be changed from regular to smart classes wherein students will be taught through PowerPoint presentations. Also, old library will be replaced by e-library and all the information regarding the books will be updated on website of the college. "Funds collected by the college over the years is being used for the purpose," said Dubey. Moreover, old furniture will be replaced by new one and the college will also be re-painted. The hostels will be upgraded with modern facilities ensuring safety on college premises. An auditorium will be built in place of the old demolished building sports ground will also be renovated.
