  Site of one of the oldest oracles in Greece. Predates the Dorians. Most likely a place where Gaia (Ge), the earth goddess communicated with mortals. Eventually Zeus took over, speaking through the rustling leaves of a sacred oak tree. A very lonely and mysterious place, especially in the fall. --grecodan
