Khojaly (Azerbaijani: Xocalı; Armenian: Խոջալու, romanized: Khojalu), also Ivanyan (Armenian: Իվանյան) is a town in the Khojaly District of Azerbaijan.
During the Soviet period, Khojaly was a village in the Askeran District of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast of Azerbaijan.
During the First Nagorno-Karabakh War (1988–1994), since 1992, the town came under the control of the former unrecognized self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh.
On September 24, 2023, Khojaly came under the control of Azerbaijan.
