Mary Stevens Park was given to the people of Stourbridge in December 1929 and used to be home and estate of Ernest Stevens a well know industrialist and philanthropist. He donated the park in memory of his wife Mary. He also gave Stevens Park in nearby Wollescote and built the Mary Stevens Maternity Home in Oldswinford. The park covers around 11hectares and has extensive recreational facilities, including basketball, tennis, golf croquet and bowls. The park also houses a large lake and water feature.
