    Kochhor is a most important village in dantaramgarh tehsil for all sides, which is adjusted about 30 kms far in east south area and about 100kms far in west from the main city of this state rajasthan. Kochhor is arrounded by the arawali branches. There are many important places as khatushyamji, jeenmata, rewasa river , arawali branches etc. Khatushyamji temple is just 19 kms from this village,jeenmata temple just 04kms from this village where located arawali branches and harshnath temple. The village kochhor is a jaat village means. Its ancient name, mentioned in Harsha Inscription 961 AD (L-38), was Lavanakutaka (लवणकूटक).............It is 97 km far from jaipur in north-west & 30 km far from sikar in south east side, west of Palsana town. As of 2011 its population is 6500 out of them 1000 are SC and 500 ST. Nearby vThe Harsha inscription of 961-975 AD tells us names of villages which were donated by nearby Chauhan rulers or chieftains from their controlled area to the temple of Harshadeva.
