This is may homeland. When the Japanase came here Barangay Manlapig was still part of Barangay Aranguren. But since Aranguren was too much big, they decided to separate the other part and called it Brgy. Manlapig since most of the people live in that place that time has a surname of Manlapig. So, they got the name Brgy. Manlapig from the surname of mostly people live there. But for now, we've increase the population in Brgy. Manlapig with different surname in different family. But Manlapig is still Manlapig. I love this place so much..
