  Sarchal shelter (elevation 12610ft, 3703m) is the main shelter in Alam Kuh area. From this point one can reach the rock and ice climbing mecca of Iran including the Alam Kuh Granite wall. The highest point is Alam Kuh summit(4845m). Alam Chal glacier is the largest present day galcier in Iran.
