Utilizing two 21ft SafeBoats, one 23ft SafeBoat, one 41ft Utility Boat (UTB) two 47ft Motor Life Boat (MLB), the station's area of responsibility covers approximately 250 square miles of ocean, backbays and inlets
Station Atlantic City also operates the seasonal small boat station at Great Egg, and together the units conduct approximately 400 search and rescue cases a year. Today, Station Atlantic City is part of the US Coast Guard's 5th District.
