Also known as Unified Grand Central Station.

Planned in 2007 during the term of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to link LRT Line 1 and MRT Line 3 with a budget of P800 million. The station was intended to be located in front of SM City North EDSA Annex. SM Prime Holdings paid P200 million for the naming rights of the station. However, in 2011, the DOTC then under Secretary Mar Roxas wants to put additional stores for lease, thereby having the station redesigned and the costs of its construction rises to P2 billion. DOTC Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya, Roxas' successor, put the station in front of Trinoma culminating in a legal battle between the two mall giants and the government. An agreement was finally reached in 2016 during the term of DOTr Secretary Art Tugade. Groundbreaking was held in September 29, 2017.
