Al-Shariah, is part of Al-Mudhaibi state and it is the centre of Samad Al-Shan.The high way passes it from east. It has medical centre,central suq(market),court and like all omani villages it has farms and Falaj(water channel). There is traditional market every Tuesday(Tuesday market). It is bounded by a chain of mountains from east.In the centre of there is the old village which is built of mud and stones, with towers and high wall surrounding it. Its people are kind and friendly and most of them are from Al-Busaidi family,the royal family in Oman.
