  • It was a Vietnamese refugee camp in the 70's. These refugees were later replaced in a third country. It is occasionally visited by the ex-refugees.
  • Thank you, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the goverment and people of Malaysia, the people and goverment of all of the immediate countries that accepted us many years ago, and the government and people of the third countries around the world received us into their land. You have given us an opportunity to live again with a full dignity of a human being. My children thank you, my family thank you, and more than 2 million of Vietnamese refugees around the world thank you.
