Hospital Santa Genoveva located in the neighborhood of the same name in Goiânia and is one of the most traditional private health services from around the Midwest. With architectural design of Jarbas Karman (Sao Paulo), Hospital Santa Genoveva was founded in 1964, starting its activities in March 1970. Its founder and president, Dr. Francisco Ludovico de Almeida Neto, is also the founder of the School of Medicine, Federal University of Goias, where he was director for 10 years. He was professor of surgery, is a professor emeritus at the School of Medicine, UFG, a founding member of the Academy of Goiás Medicine and a member of the Brazilian Academy of Hospital Administration.
