Anchik, Ančitłi (Karata) — one of ancient auls of the Republic Dagestan, located on spurs of the Alaksky ridge. The aul basis carry to the early Middle Ages. Necropolises of that period testify to it. They are located in village vicinities. On August, 5th, 2010 the historical part has sat down has burnt down, having transformed beyond recognition shape of an ancient aul. Has according to official figures burnt down 69 home ownerships.

Karata village (Akhvakhsky district). Population 1 490 (2007); 819 (2015). They speak the Anchik dialect, "anchiLi", of the Karata language (belongs to Andi-dido group). Second language is Avar and third is Russian.
