Speed of Sound is a Boomerang rollercoaster in Walibi Holland. It was placed by Vekoma in 2000. It was open until 2007 when the park announced to shut it down. In 2007, the train was sold while the track was still situated at Walibi World. On 30 January Walibi Holland announced that the La Via Volta will reopen in 2011, with a new style train from Vekoma. The La Via Volta will be also getting a new theme and the name Speed of Sound.
