Slovak highwayman Juraj Jánošík was imprisoned in Liptovský Mikuláš before the court in 1712 in the Pecov chateau, from which he fled. At that time a gaffe with whom he was imprisoned told him that a wealthy widow, after the official Rudolf Scardon (Schardon, Chardon?), Was transported to Liptov. After escaping from prison, he chose Liptov and the Garajov stream, and he picked it up between Východná willage and Važec willage. It was his friends. He hid the treasure under the rock. He gave his friend a rifle and left two wigs for himself. When the friends left, the battles under the rocks picked one gauge and left the valuables. According to the accusations in Štrba town, Važec willage, Teplička willage and some settlements, especially in Štrba hiding the stolen things. They found there a "partieka" (luggage, things, clothes) of the widow. Liptov County had to pay for widow Schardon compensation. This battle and the slaughter of the Domaniža willage parishioner became a destiny for Jánošík. Representatives of the county have decided to find and punish Jánošík. At this point, the route formed the right angle. On the spring there was a stream where the sheep and horses were feeding. The horses were stopped here to make the horses drink water, and the warders just dropped and robbed the widow Schardon.
