This area belongs to the descendants of "Buksh" who lived here as far back as 200 years ago. Their property stretched from Bhangur Hospital to Dhakuria. At present most of it is leased to the state government under the Rahim Buksh Wakf Estate and can neither be sold nor purchased. The Lake Gardens State Transport Garage stands on land that once belonged to them, and similarly the mosque and the adjacent graveyard (which still belongs to them)opposite Lake Kali Bari. Most of the family left the area during the 1964 riots though some are still living here. THEIR IS ONE AMONG THEM WHO WILL BRING BACK THE PAST GLORY OF HIS ANCESTORS, AND DEFINITELY LOT OF PEOPLE WILL BE GIVING LOT OF ANSWERS, NO ONE WILL BE SPARED.
