A twin cable-stayed bridge carrying 8 lanes (4 northbound/westbound, 4 southbound/eastbound) of I-87 / I-287 / New York Thruway across the Hudson River. The bridge officially opened to two-way traffic on October 6th, 2017. Officially known as the Governor Mario M. Cuomo bridge, it is commonly referred to as the New Tappan Zee Bridge.
