Annexed by the city of Santa Maria in June 1992. This was owned by Frank D. Robinson, who planned on building his 4-seat R-44 helicopters here until the City of Torrence approved to lease more land at Zamperini Field to the Robinson Helicopter Company. Robinson shelved his factory plans after signing the new lease.
