Risholmen-Arendal wind farm is located (mostly) on Risholmen island, about 10 km west of central Gothenburg, Sweden. Constructed in 1996, it consisted of 4 Vestas V44/600 and 1 Bonus Mk3 (450-kW) turbines, owned by Göteborg Energi. The southernmost turbine, nicknamed Elvira, was replaced in 2012 by the 4.1MW "Big Glenn", the largest wind turbine in Sweden. In the north there is one WindWorld 600-kW turbine owned by Enerex. One additional turbine, located still further north, was removed in 2010. The combined nominal capacity of the 6 turbines is 6.95 MW.
