Hjärtholmen wind farm is located on the island of Hjärtholmen, which is an oil terminal in the harbour of Gothenburg, Sweden. Constructed in 1993 and 1996, it consisted of 5 wind turbines (3 Vestas V27/225 and 2 Vestas V44/600), but the 3 smaller turbines, which were located on the west side of the island, were sold to Ireland in 2015, leaving only two with a combined nominal capacity of 1.2 MW. Even at that, the remaining two turbines do not have the same owners.
The turbines were given local names (Abel, Axel, Boel, Görel & Set); see www.gbgvind.se/plantdat.html for details.
