Milanpara Durga Puje was started in 1958. Founders are- Kanti Bhaumik,Kamal Roy, Badal Dey,Naresh Sengupta,Jiten Kundu,Kali Kar,Utpal Neogi,Taru Dasgupta,Jogesh Das,Subrata Sengupta & many more names are tobe remembered. Now this Durga puja is managed by the Women of Milanpara. This Mandir was constructed with the help of many resident of this para,however, we can name Keya Kar (chaudhury)whose direct & indirect support we got from her. We can also name Himansu Bhaumik(Bablu) who has given his direct & indirect support to this Puja Commitee. In the same time we should not forget the name of Mihir Sengupta & Kebla Paul, Swapan Roy, Shibaji Sengupta,Sumangal and many others for their support to perform Durgapuja every year. There is the beuty of Kumari Puja which was began and was sponsored by Giribala Bhaumik (Amma) and after her death Keya chaudhury has performing the responsibility of Giribala Bhaumik with full devotion. 2008 was our Golden Jubilee (50) Year of foundation. Mandir floor has re-made of White Marbel which has sponsored by Himansu bhaumik (Bablu)in the year- 2008 and total work was monitered by Keya Chaudhery. One SHIVA Mandir has newly been build here.
