German WW2 Atlantikwall Bunker, Stützpunkt 13, Ravenoville Plage
Type S/K Schartenstand-
I actually think this used to have a roof. The front end is damaged as well. I think this is roofless SK667 Twin, and that it used to have a Tobruk in the front with a PanzerTurm PzT R35 37mm KwK144. The gun would have been a 50mm KwK L/60. I suspect the roof is blown, and the rear walls blended into the current seawall. There are a couple of great examples at Biville Plage on the other side of the Cotentin. The Germans almost never made large shooting stands without roofs. There are none other at Normandie or the Cotentin.
