John Island - John Island is a small island located between Willow Point and Kowaliga Marina. Over the years erosion has taken its toll on the island. Boats frequently park on its sandy shallow beach. It used to be known as Sand Island, but the name has recently been changed to John Island when one family started calling it that and the name stuck
