Ana Sagar Lake (Ajmer)

India / Rajasthan / Ajmer

This is the historic Anasagar Lake and it is still called Ana Sagar Only As per Govt Records.
Over the hills of Ajmer sits the sleepy town of Pushkar. it is a white ring of historic buildings encapsulating the holiest lake in India, where Brahma stepped and from where reality was created. Pushkar comes alive every year during the Camel Festival, which draws thousands of camel drivers and their herds from the desert (and thousands more tourists from overseas). Few can deny this town has a magical quality to it. Many (tourists) come for a few days and stay for a few months, taking in the atmosphere and taking in the great food
