Quarter of Katowice, located about 2km on north-east from city center. About 18000 people live in Bogucice, most of them in quite new estates. There's also old XIX-th century part of quarter, with relic churc in neo-gothic style. Most famous person from Bogucice was climber Jerzy Kukuczka, who reached all eight-thousanders as second person in history.
