Kirstenbosch lies in the heart of Cape Town's southern suburbs. It was opened in 1913. Since 2013, there is a canopy way bridge at a height of 12 meters over the trees. This is known as 'Boomslang'. It is a 130m canopy walkway discreetly located in the tree tops of this famous garden. It offers striking views of the garden, the mountain and beyond, and should not be missed. Visitors can walk over this bridge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings high above the land.
