  Mr. Ajoy Kumar Roy used to the Deputy Manager of this tea estate once, he was very dedicated, lovable, honset and workholic and for this he was respected and feared by one and all. Now he resides at Jalpaigur Town with his wife, his two daughters are married and well settled. After takeing retirement from active service he worked as a consultant in a number of small plations one of them being that of Dhruba Das's plantation, Labanapur Tea Estate, where I also worked for a small time before moving back to Kolkata, at that time I had the oppertunity to work with Mr Roy and came to know him thoroughly. All my respect goes to him. He was a master in handling worker related issues very aptly and cunningly. I have seen him and it is my personal view as well as a first hand feeling that young and old in plantation field looked on to him for his views adn directions for his majestic personality and outlook.
