Havilah, California

Havilah was the county seat of Kern County from 1866 to 1872. Several buildings from the 1860s still stand today. A courthouse, cemetery, and school are present. Foundations, and signs marking locations of other historic buildings, line both sides of Caliente-Bodfish Road.

Havilah is California Historical Landmark #100.
