Religious importance

The first step to famous Chhota Mahadev pilgrimage is supposed to be located in Jamai (the place where the step is located is known as Junnardeo. Pilgrims cross seven hills (famously called Saat Pahadiyan) to reach Chhota Mahadev.

It is also famous for a religious fair held every year for 15 Days on "Maha Shivaratri".

After Diwali parv the famous fair khamra taal mela at near very beautiful place Nawegaon excepted it there are very beautiful places in Nawegaon like Gogali dev Hills, and beside it a very big Dam and bhutanala where there are many small waterfalls.
