This space housed a soda fountain and luncheonette from 1935 until around the 1960's and later Cleonice Mediterranean Bistro from mid-2002 until its closure on December 31, 2012. It was relocated and merged with The Maine Grind on January 7, 2013, located at 112 Main Street. That merged cafe closed its doors for good on December 31, 2014.

The current bistro was opened on February 2014. Cellar Bistro is a farm and sea to table restaurant which uses only fresh local ingredients from New England farms and seafood from the Gulf of Maine.
