  This Wikimapia image provides no evidence this is a, "destroyed darfur village." Such labeling is for political purposes, and as such, is misleading. We all must endeavor to apply critical thinking to these applications, or this whole Wikimapia function is instantly useless. Consider this possibility: The people who inhabit this area are semi-nomadic. The village is seasonably abandoned, and the people are awaiting return of rains and forage, whereupon the village will be re-occupied. Evidence for this can be seen on the same latitude and longitude a few kilometers to the west. There is an obvious difference as to which season was present when the photo of this village was taken, and the photos of other village just west were taken.

  I refer to and admit to the mistake of using ,"longitude," in my above statement. I referred to villages to the west, and therefore longitude would not apply. Mea culpa.
