This is a village of peasnats. A marvelous Surya Mandir is situated on the bank of Son Nahar near Belsar Lock. Hydroelect Project is also running on Nahar. National High Way No 98 (Aurangabad-Patna) passes from here. It is about 80km far from Patna by road. ancient village no one is able to say about the period when village come into exitance.an old shivling is present in the village which is named as baileshwarnath in Shiva Purana.it is said that name of the village is belong from that god shiva name.

  • Hi Belsar is my Home Town. it is very beautiful place. Surya mandir is main attraction in Belsar.villagers visit this temple to offer there prayers to Lord Surya mainly Sunday.Hydroelect Project is also running on Nahar. The Project is under construction.
