At the crossroads Meerdinkweg and Holdersweg in Woold, Winterswijk is this chestnut. It was planted during the 40th commemoration of the liberation of Woold. On the plaque is the following text:

THIS CHESTNUT WAS PLANTED BY

SYDNEY ENGLAND
