Edgars Imants Siliņš (1927-1998) was one of the most talented Latvian physicists.
He graduated from the Latvian University's faculty of Physics and Mathematics in 1961,
and is noted for his book Organic Molecular Crystals, Their Electronic States - the seminal
work on the subject.
