Finnish custom office "Parikkala"(ex-"Kolmikanta"). Opens only from Mon till Fri and 08:00-19:00(finnish time) and only for people with special permits. Mostly uses by finnish timber trucks, which inport russian timbers.

The administration of finnish customs answered in july 2008:
"Thank you for your interest on Parikkala-Syävoro border crossing point. Unfortunatelly it´s not yet possible for the private persons to overcross the border from Russian side. The border administration and custom on the Finnish side would allow the crossing, of course the passport and visa would be needed as usually. We do hope that the Parikkala-Syväoro will be opened as an international border crossing point in the very near future, but the administration of opening will take some time."
