Attached to the Synagogue are three plaques.
The text on the center plaque is:

1940-1945
THE ENEMY NEVER LET US OUT OF SIGHT
WE DIDN'T DARE TO GO OUT ON THE STREET
THE END WAS NEAR,
OUR DAYS WERE NUMBERED...

On the left and right plaques are the names of 81 people who were killed in World War Two.
