  I had been at Biharinath on 15.8.2011 to inspect the Intercom facility of BIHARINATH TOURIST POINT (033-69547111,8017202499), the only proper accommodation in that area. I had no idea about Biharinath and as per previous instruction I got down at Raniganj station and took a local bus that took me to Biharinth. Believe me, I had no idea that such a beautiful place is located near Kolkata. The place has hills, dense forest area, many water bodies,river Damodar and famous temple of Lord Shiva. The atmosphere is also salubrious where water is panacea. One can trek at Biharinath hill. I saw cloud was grazing like cow in the hills.BIHARINATH TOURIST POINT is being opened from 1.10.11 and before that I am going there again on excuse to install Intercom connection there.
