Eleuthera is about 90 Km east of Nassau. The island has a length of 170 Km, but it is only 1,5 to 5 Km wide. The island is called the vegetable garden of the Bahamas. The southernmost part is nearly uninhabited.
At the narrowest Point - called Glass Window Bridge - the Island devides into North-Eleuthera and South-Eleuthera.
Furthermore there are three district: North-Eleuthera, Central-Eleuthera and South-Eleuthera.
