This villa was built for the conductor of the imperial court, Isaac Strauss. Napoleon III lived there in 1861 and 1862 until his chalets are built. The building of bricks in the facings of white stone is in the style neo-Louis XIII. Built in 1858, it is due to the architect Hugues Bartillat.
