I was entrusted the initial planning in 1969, got the portion across the Chinna Creek designed by M/S Scott Wilson of UK,, was Project Manager in charge of Phase-I construction by M/S National Construction. Phase-II rotary with third level overpass was designs by M/S Andre and Partners of Germany and constructed by M/S Cina Yunan, all during my tenure as General Manager, Planning & Development, KPT. It was inaugurated in 1998.
