San Francesco complex (Imola)

Built between 1360 and 1380 by the Franciscan friars, it consisted of a superior church, an inferior church and a large adjoining cloister. The convent was gradually transformed into a public library, with the inferior church being used for conventions and exhibitions while the larger superior church houses the Theater of Imola.
