Ayla Oasis (Aqaba)

Ayla Oasis is a $1.4 billion redevelopment project in Aqaba, Jordan. It consists of artificial lakes that aim to add 17 new kilometers of beachfront, 1700 hotel rooms, 3000 residential units and will host Jordan's first green golf course. The 18-hole golf course was designed by Greg Norman, the design is considered to be one of the most eco-friendly golf courses in the world

Located on Aqaba’s shoreline, Ayla is a captivating realm of glamorous architecture, world-class amenities, and stunning white-sand beaches. The development is expected to accelerate the city’s economic growth, attracting both local and foreign investments.

The all-encompassing community stretches across 17 kilometers of newly created waterfront, stemming from 234 meters of seafront. When complete, the development will cover 43km2 of residential and commercial space.

Ayla’s blueprint includes a series of man-made lagoons, waterfront hotels and beach clubs, public parks, as well as Jordan’s first 18-hole golf course.

The community is comprised of five districts: Marina, Lagoons, Creek, Golf Hills, and Avenue. The contemporary accommodation in each of the districts is designed to give residents and guests breath-taking panoramic views of the waterfront, green landscapes, and mountains.

Offering a myriad of retail, dining, and entertainment venues, the colorful and vibrant community is further expected to become home to key seasonal and cultural events.

The development’s construction – which commenced in 2008 – will be carried out in three phases over 12 years. The first phase of the development is underway and expected to be completed in 2018.
