Kiriko Village in Kipipiri Sub-county is a unique village. It has access to two main rivers, Turasha River and Kianjogu River which is a tributary of Turasha. There are unique gorges that the rivers follow. Very outstanding river rocks of Chalk and gemstone characterise the river banks. The village has very hospitable people who always welcome any visitor. Major activities of the dwellers is farming.It is important to note that people living outside the village but are members of this village usually keep in close contact with their rural folks in developing the village.This is a group of youth who call themselves ''Kiriko Diaspora''

  • This is outstanding to note that the village has togetherness that is unique. Mostly all the members live us one family. Surprisingly they have all intermarried to form a unique family.
