This large white farm used to be a sugar refinery. The sugar was obtained from sugar beet, which is still cultivated massively in the area.
The farm was built in 1839 on the Count of Hamal's orders, whose castle is situated nearby. The sugar refinery was recently converted into two separate farms.
The building was declared protected heritage in 2002.
