Houtdok and Zwaaidok. Belong with the Vlotdok to the "New Commercial Docks", the current Trade Port, conducted as part of an expansion of the port from 1898 to 1914. 1906: south of the Zwaaidok is applied a marshalling yard.
1932-1936: construction of new goods station south of the docks. Houtdok of Vlotdok separated by a movable wooden bridge, replaced in 2000 by two new identical drawbridges; Zwaaidok directly linked Houtdok.
Houtdok dimensions: 575 m length, 90 m width 8.25 m depth. 300 m quay along the Houtdok used as port land, equipped with train tracks and the roads.
