Doamjeong (pavilion) was built around 1650 by Gim Jong-geor (1628-1708), a high ranking official and scholar. He was famous for his scholastic accomplishments and filial piety and enjoyed talking politics and reciting poetry with his fellow scholars here.

In front of the pavilion is a square pond with an artificial isle that has pine trees in the center.

Great harmony between the pavilion and its surroundings attests to the outstanding aesthetic sense of upper-class people of the Joseon period.

Doamjeong is Gyeongsangbuk-do Folk Material #54.
