York Village is a small hamlet situated above Langho halfway between the towns of Blackburn and Whalley in the Ribble Valley of Lancashire, England. From its heights can be seen the Fylde coast including Blackpool Tower in the west, and a panorama of the many local fells, including Longridge Fell, Waddington Fell, Pendle Hill, Parlick Pike and further afield the Trough of Bowland (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and the 'three peaks' of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales (National Park).
