Centro Escolar University (PSE: CEU) is a private university in the Philippines. It was founded on June 3, 1907 by two women, Librada Avelino and Carmen de Luna, and was originally called Centro Escolar de Señoritas. It became a university in 1939. Today, the university has three campuses, the Mendiola Campus along Mendiola Street in Manila, the Malolos Campus established in 1978 is in the northern suburb of Malolos City in Bulacan province, and the newly established Makati Campus in 2005, is in the Makati Central Business District. Originally, its Parañaque Campus was part of the university's system until it was phased out in the early 1990s.

Centro Escolar University houses 12 buildings that are used in catering to the educational needs to an average of 20,000 students per year. Considered as one of the most stable institution in the country, the university has pursued academic excellence in its course offerings by continuously raising quality standards, upgrading facilities, updating curricula, and developing a highly professional and dynamic teaching force and university staff. All of the school programs have been accredited Levels 2 and 3 by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).

  • go ceu! im a fresh graduate and i must say ceu has a great scholastic reputation. after graduation i did not have a hard time being hired. oh by the way im an education graduate -ceu manila whkh is one of the Centers of excellence in the field of education. and most of all im so proud to say in the school where i work my two of my superiors are escolarinas! a testament that escolarians are products of science and virtue. i miss ceu! still vaccilating on the idea of taking my masters in ceu or la salle. :-( oh well let's see. i miss all my professors! i miss the siomai at the yellow canteen at sdv lanal. and the blueberry cheese cake at the underground cafeteria. thanks a lot!
