The city of Bedonia is one of the largest towns in the mountains' section of the province of Parma. Possessing a large basilica, an astronomical observatory, a national gallery of art, an important historic archive and library, Bedonia is the main cultural center of the Taro Valley along with Borgo Val di Taro.
This city is also the main hub for the bus transportation in the entire area, having the TEP transportation company headquarters located in the Follo neighborhood.
